Raised With Christ

As promised, here is a book review on 'Raised With Christ' By Adrian Warnock.

I have to say, first of all, that it was a genuine pleasure to read. Simple without being simplistic, it follows a line of thought through the importance of the resurrection, the truth of the resurrection, the effect it has on us, the need for revival in our churches and in prayer, and finally the second coming- the resurrection of our bodies at the end of all things.
Truly inspirational writing- but also informative. The explanation of doctrine surrounding the resurrection (a word which, as you may have guessed, is pretty central) is clear and insightful- as is the explanation of how this develops as practice in our own lives. It is a book which inspires a spirit of revival.

I would really recommend you buy 2 copies- one for you, and one for someone else.
"Christians have the same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead living inside them" (Quoted from the conclusion)

  2. This is truly a good book. It really opened my eyes to the relevance and beauty of Christ's resurrection. I think it will have a lasting effect on my doctrinal thinking and life as a God's child.

Every time I now read something about resurrection of Jesus in the Scripture my soul just rejoices in it, because it brings to my mind all the things discussed in this book. Like these simple of words of Jesus in the Reveletion 1:17-18:

"Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades."
